In just five two-hour sessions, you will gain a competitive edge in dealing with your "information explosion." Learn techniques for reading in a vertical, rather than horizontal fashion--taking in every word on the page. Instruction will be in general reading with emphasis on textbook skills for students.

If your writing skills aren’t where you would like them to be Champion Reading can help you improve your writing skills in a convenient and economical way. If you cannot write we can teach you.
We can teach you how to write a good concise essay for your SAT and ACT tests, as well as the application essays.
We help with researching which schools require certain types of essays.
For the application essays, we first send you a questionnaire to complete in order to find out what is unique about you. We then work with you to craft the very best essays and help you find your voice so that you have a better chance to stand out above all other applicants.
After your initial two hour session with Mrs. Kelley, most of your communication will be via email.
We also help with your resume and intern applications.
Mrs. Kelley is available at both the Tomball and Kingwood locations.

Our Team
Lois Levontin
As the former VP of Human Resources for a company with 12,000 employees, Lois Levontin understands how important it is for people to have the tools they need to feel set up for success. When she witnessed the power of the Champion Reading curriculum, she instantly knew she needed to bring it to the students of Broward. She knew it could be the vehicle to empower students to succeed in school and life and to be able to reach goals they never thought imaginable.
Pulling from experience she gained when she conducted training seminars for assorted job skills and workplace behavior, Lois is confident she can equip the students of Broward, and help them unleash the champion inside themselves. After completing the Champion Reading course, she wants students to feel like they have been given a key to open many doors and opportunities.
This Chicago native is never without a good book at her side or in her bag and is particularly drawn to books that will expand her knowledge.
She graduated from the University of Illinois with a BA in Marketing.
When not teaching at Champion Reading of Broward, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
